With the More Block, you can truncate your blog entries so that only the first part of a post is displayed on homepage, archive pages and in subscriber emails.
Get started by clicking the + Inserter icon 
at the bottom-left corner of the screen and select the More Block from the blocks list
You can position the cursor where you want to truncate the post and add the More Block. If the block is placed on the wrong place you can use the up and down arrows to move the block.
On your homepage, archive pages and in subscriber emails this is how the post will show:
The reader can then click on Continue reading to be redirected to the full post.
