My Sites

How can I export my site’s content?

This feature is not available on sites that have the WordPress.com Business plan, WordPress.com eCommerce plan, or self-hosted sites.

On Android

To export your site’s content from the WordPress mobile app you need to click on the Settings tab

Next, scroll all the way down and click on the Export Content tab

Next you will see a pop-up message saying your exported content will be sent to the email address associated with your WordPress.com account. Click on the Export Content option.

The system will export your site’s content to your email and will let you know once it’s done. Please note that depending on your email server and internet connection the file might take a while to get to your inbox. Also, it’s worth noting this type of email is rarely allowed into your main inbox. Please check any alternative inboxes you might have, like the Updates folder on Gmail for example, Spam and trash folders too.

The email should look like this

Once you open it, you will see a Download blue button. Click on the button to download the file to your device
