WordPress.com or Self-hosted site connected to Jetpack
To access a site hosted with WordPress.com, log in to the app with your WordPress.com credentials.
When you open the app for the first time, click on Log In or Sign Up with WordPress.com and enter the email address associated with your account:
Please note: If you use an email that is not associated with any WordPress.com account it will automatically create a new account for you linked to the email you added.
You can choose to receive a login link via email or enter your password to access your account
If you choose the link option, we’ll email you a special link that, once you click it, will log you into your account without needing to enter a password.
The link will work once only, and expires after one hour for added security.
You can also log in with your email address and password:
Log in to a Self-Hosted Site
To access a WordPress site that is self-hosted, tap the “Enter your site address” link, then enter the site address to connect to your site. You will then be asked to enter your username and password you use to log into WP-Admin (https://yoursiteaddress.com/wp-Admin).
If your site is connected to Jetpack, you will also need to provide your WordPress.com login information to receive your Stats.
Add Additional Sites
To add more sites to your app at any point, select the Switch Site option, tap the “+” icon in the top right corner, and choose the appropriate option:
- Create a brand new WordPress.com website
- Add an existing self-hosted WordPress site
Each of your sites can then be managed independently through the app. Though any WordPress.com sites will need to be managed from the same WordPress.com account.
