Version 5.1 of the WordPress for iOS app is now available in the App Store. Here’s a peek at the newest features and latest updates:
What’s new:
Version 5.1 brings video support into the editor! We also made visual improvements and an important bug fix for self-hosted sites.
Add videos to your posts. You can now use your iOS devices to record and upload videos with just few taps.

- You can select videos to upload from your local gallery.

- Uploaded videos are available for embedded playback.
Improved notifications icon. An orange dot will now be shown on top of the alert icon to let you know when you have new notifications to view.

- The notifications toolbar item now displays an orange dot to alert you of new notifications.
Bug fixes. We fixed a crash when attempting to log into self-hosted blogs. You can see the complete list of bug fixes here.
