WordPress For Android: Version 3.7

Version 3.7 of the WordPress for Android app is now available in the Google Play Store. Here’s a peek at the newest features and latest updates.

What’s new

New stats screen. You’ll see richer stats for your posts! Now, you can better track the performance of your published posts, like your recent recipe, your latest travel photo essay, your commentary on this month’s Academy Award nominees, and more. No matter what your newest post is about, you can check its stats on a new screen that displays all of its data:

Auto-correct is back. After checking your stats, head over to your comments from your blog’s readers. Thanks to the return of the auto-correction feature, you can respond to comments with ease — and typo-free, of course!

An improved Reader experience. Next, dive into your Reader to catch up on your favorite sites and see what’s new with your fellow bloggers. Your Reader now remembers where you left off, so you’ll never lose your place again. Just tap the “New posts” bar to explore the newest posts in your feed.

Bug fixes. Our team also made various bug fixes to make the whole experience smoother, including a fix to an issue when changing the orientation on tablets.

Beta

Do you like keeping up with what’s new in the app? Do you enjoy testing new stuff before anyone else? Our testers have access to beta versions with updates shipped directly through Google Play. The beta versions may have new features, new fixes — and possibly new bugs! Testers make it possible for us to improve the overall app experience, and offer us invaluable development feedback.
